Georgia Haloulos, Director General
Georgia is responsible for managing, planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and evaluation of programs and resources. The Director General must ensure the effective operation in accordance with the policies and objectives set by the board.
Harry Bistolas, Administrative Assistant:
Harry performs administrative support work primarily related to registrations, accounting, payroll, and accounts for parents and assist staff.
Our Staff :
Welcome, to our CPE Hellenique Ta Pedakia. We would like to introduce you to our amazing team that makes our daycare unique and special. Many of our staff members have been part of our team for over 25 consecutive years, the youngest being 10years to the eldest being with our family for over 25years.
Our educators make sure to offer a safe, fun, clean and educational environment to our kids. We aim to follow the pedagogical guidelines offered by the minister and by applying various educational activities which are age appropriate for children age 18mth-5yrs
Our Amazing Cook:
Mme. Aspassia (Soula) Bagiotis
Ms. Soula is the person responsible for preparing food meals and snacks and making sure our kids get the best nutrition, She is responsible to make sure our children receive a daily balanced nutritional meals following the Canadian food guide whereby children enjoy the various taste and flavors while enjoying a hearty meal. Ms. Soula is responsible for maintenance of the kitchen, appliances and equipment. She also makes purchases necessary for its operation. We are a peanut free daycare and for us here at CPE HELLENIQUE TA PEDAKIA our children’s wellbeing comes first.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CPE HELLENIQUE TA PEDAKIA
The corporation is administered by a board of directors (B.O.D.) composed of nine (9) administrators, two-thirds of whom are parents of children attending the childcare facility the CPE. Only one parent per family is eligible to sit on the B.O.D. simultaneously.
Administrators are elected at an Annual General Assembly (Reference: Article 11.01 of the by-laws) held every year during the month of September. Administrators remain in office for the year. Following the Annual General Assembly the B.O.D. meet to elect from among themselves their Officers: Each member of our Board elected has to do a police verification
The B.O.D. is the guiding authority of the CPE and meets at least once a month to ensure its smooth functioning along with the Director of the CPE.
